إن معايير العضوية في اللجنة الاستشارية الحكومية مقررة في المادة الرابعة من المبادئ التشغيلية للجنة الاستشارية الحكومية، والتي تحدد أيضًا معايير الممثلين والمستشارين المعتمدين لكل عضو.
a. تحدد المادة الخامسة من المبادئ التشغيلية للجنة الاستشارية الحكومية مراقبي اللجنة الاستشارية الحكومية.
b. وفي النهاية، تناقش المادة السابعة من المبادئ التشغيلية للجنة الاستشارية الحكومية المسئولين في اللجنة الاستشارية الحكومية: الرئيس ونواب الرئيس والمسئولين واللجان الأخرى.
