This part of the website provides access to past, present and future GAC meeting materials, including other calls and interactions the GAC has internally and with other groups.

GAC
Pua Hunter provided an update to the participants on the GAC Underserved Regions WG will be holding its pre-ICANN65 GAC Capacity Building Development Workshop for the Africa region on Sunday 23 June.

Pua Hunter also informed the group about the FY20 Additional Budget Request made by the WG for 5 workshops: 3 in the margin of ICANN Meetings and 2 regional meetings.

ALAC
ALAC gave an update regarding the At-Large Summit in Montreal at ICANN66 and the series of webinars focusing on issues the ALAC Capacity Building Working Group believe are the most useful to the At-Large members.

The webinars will be held until the end of May and focus on the following:

Domain Names Demystified
Introduction to the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO)
Onboarding: Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO)
Onboarding: Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC)
Cybersecurity Basics

The webinars are open and interpretation is provided in Spanish and French.

Regarding webinar 4. Yrjö Lansipuro has already contacted Ana Neves.

The group also discussed the possibility of adding GAC Members, when requested, to the At-Large webinars mailing list.

Action Items:

Yrjö Lansipuro to follow-up with Ana Neves and include members of the group if needed.
At-Large staff/ALAC Capacity Building WG Members to follow up with the group on adding GAC Members to the webinars mailing list.

b. Future collaboration / Joint resourcing

The group reviewed the resources used beyond capacity building workshops and webinars, such as the wiki, ebooks, power point presentations, beginners guides and ICANN Learn.

The material provided within At-Large is predominantly created by community volunteers.

c. Expectations for ICANN 65 meeting

The group agreed on meeting at ICANN65 and create a mailing list for future collaboration.
