Session Details:
Provide GAC Members and Observers with an updated understanding of the current status of the 2026 Round, its application process, timeline and key milestones, building on the Capacity Development material presented at ICANN86. The session will review application types and evaluations, opportunities for community and GAC input, including objections and appeals, and the actions available to GAC Members and Observers. It will also highlight relevant ICANN resources and systems and, if possible, provide an applicant perspective on the new gTLD application process.
