As the new year starts and in preparation for ICANN64, Jamie Hedlund and Bryan Schilling invite SO/AC leaders to suggest one or two representatives who are in the Washington DC area to attend a discussion on safeguard and contractual compliance topics.

The discussion will kick-off with the following questions as well as address any other topics raised by attendees around safeguards and contractual compliance.
- What information, including statistics, would the community find useful to facilitating a community-wide discussion on safeguards?
- Are the safeguards currently within ICANN’s remit (derived from Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and contracts) adequate?
- What, if any gaps, exist within ICANN’s safeguards or ability to address issues impacting the security and stability of the DNS?
