The GAC meets 3 or 4 times per year, usually in parallel with the ICANN meeting schedule.
However, during 2002, GAC had several additional "inter-sessional" meetings and this may continue in the future.
GAC also convenes global or regional telephone conference calls about once every two months and more frequently if the need arises.
GAC advice to ICANN usually takes the form of a "communiqué" issued after each full meeting.
The principal documents relating to each meeting are the Agenda and the Communiqué.
